First, a territory consists of multiple sections. The lands in Perfect World are divided into multiple territories. Players can turn on "Perfect World Empire Division Chart" view when checking the game’s world map.

Second, every player can, at anytime check the current status of each territory through the "Perfect World Empire Division Chart". Note that the dots in the chart represent the teleportation points present in each of the territories.

Third, territories are divided into three levels, the higher the level, the less such locations it contains. Territories are divided according to the division of city. For example in the picture：
